My name is Jörg Bernhard Klemmer, I am 70 years old and have worked as a coach and designer. Photography is my ambition.
With the entry into digital photography macro photography became my main subject.
It was necessary to learn the craft of the new technical possibilities after the analog time. The camera was operated without automatic, as in the analog time. Today, the technical development has gone further and allows results under conditions that were not possible before: The resolution of the chip, ultrasonic motors on the lens, memory capacity, focus-BKT, post-focus and continuous image speeds of 60 frames in one second.
I started with macro wild-life photos, followed by first stacking attempts and the construction of a small studio solution. Microscope lenses with a stackshot are also used. Topics are fresh and also dry plants, seeds, fruiting bodies, sands, fossils, insect specimens, microcrystals and minerals.
Currently I am interested in stacking live insects in their biotope, a special challenge!
I have stayed with macro photography, the fascination of this world, often invisible to the naked eye, in its beauty and diversity, continues to bind me to the subject.
